This is the first in the series of publications the Centre for Public Safety and Justice intends to make available to as wide a reading public as possible, in order to stimulate discussion and influence the formulation of public policy and action. Killing Streets offers the reader a community perspective, both in defining the issue and in proposing a solution based not on theory but on tried application.
