One Big Dream

In 2006, I was elected and became Jamaica's first female Prime Minister. It was an achievement after a long career of public servie spanning more than 40 years. I again served as Prime Ministr for a second time, from 2012-2016.

As a young girl grwoing up I had many dreams, some of which served to encourage and inspire me along the way.

I hope that as you read this account of my dreams and childhood experiences it will inspire you to dream big and to strive to achieve your dreams. Always remeber whatever we Jamaicans put our minds to, we can achieve. It is the I CAN in every Jamaican!
