This concise account of anatomy relevant to the practice of radiology is aimed primarily at candidates for the examination for Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists, and assumes a knowledge of the fundamentals of anatomy. It includes numerous diagrams derived from radiographs and scans. A brief description of each structure is followed by its relations and vascular anatomy, and a list of methods of imaging. Each diagram has a separate key for clarity and for the purpose of self-assessment. A pictorial survey of human anatomy relevant to the study and practice of diagnostic radiology. Particular emphasis is given to cross- sectional diagrams due to their importance in the interpretation of ultrasound, CT and MRI images. Text briefly describes the radiological significance of the accompanying illustrations, and details anatomical relations, vascular anatomy and appropriate imaging techniques.
