Jamaica is famous for its Georgian houses but many people are unaware of the vernacular architecture that has evolved from it. Anghelen Phillips illustrates, in her distinctive style, a wide and varied range of these buildings from all over the island. Geoffrey Pinto adds to the description and brief history of these buildings by reviewing the current state of the buildings and looks at the Architectual Heritage Movement in Jamaica in recent years.
